　　楓葉教育的特色便是楓葉英語(yǔ)教育。在楓葉，學(xué)生們不僅學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)，更學(xué)會(huì)如何用英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)、用英語(yǔ)思考。在楓葉，我們創(chuàng)建積極的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境，重視培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的各項(xiàng)英語(yǔ)能力，讓學(xué)生像學(xué)習(xí)母語(yǔ)一般學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)。
　　Unique Curriculum
　　楓葉英語(yǔ)由中、加教師聯(lián)合授課；開設(shè)上海牛津英語(yǔ)及楓葉英語(yǔ)教材。楓葉英語(yǔ)教材注重閱讀和寫作，單詞量為4500—5000個(gè)。英語(yǔ)科學(xué)課1500—2000個(gè)單詞，而的三年單詞量總計(jì)為1700—2000單詞。
　　Students in Maple Leaf are taught by both Chinese and Canadian teachers.We adopt Oxford English and Maple Leaf English as our textbooks.Maple Leaf English emphasizes reading and writing withvocabularies,vocabularies for English Science.Yet,the amount of vocabularies for public school students isfor the entire 3 years.
　　開設(shè)加拿大《科學(xué)》（Science）課程，引進(jìn)原版英文教材，由海歸經(jīng)驗(yàn)教師授課，是國(guó)內(nèi)獨(dú)有的校本課程，旨在實(shí)現(xiàn)與楓葉高中加拿大全英文教材。
　　We offer Canadian Science course and introduce the original textbooks fromCanada,all science teachers have overseas experiences.The course is unique in Chinawith an aim to set a solid foundation and transition into Maple Leaf international high schools.
　　楓葉課程與“雙語(yǔ)雙學(xué)歷”的楓葉高中全英文加方課程對(duì)接。課程開足開全，特色課程突出，學(xué)生進(jìn)步和得到家長(zhǎng)一致認(rèn)可。

　　Maple Leaf carries on the mode of“Graded English teaching”which includes fundamental class,parallel class and advanced class.The individualized quality education enables students to achieve all-round improvements in listening,speaking,reading and writing.
　　楓葉使用上海版牛津英語(yǔ)教材以及楓葉英語(yǔ)教材。這兩套教材均采用任務(wù)型教學(xué)模式編著。在英語(yǔ)教學(xué)中，教師采用任務(wù)型教學(xué)法，層層遞進(jìn)，環(huán)環(huán)相扣，螺旋式進(jìn)行教學(xué)。有助于學(xué)生英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)興趣，夯實(shí)學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)能力。
　　Maple Leaf junior high school adopts Oxford English and Maple Leaf English as its textbook.These two textbooks are written according to the TBLT method.We use TBLT method to teach English.In this way,we can inspire students’learning interest and improve students’English ability.

　　在英語(yǔ)課堂上，我們根據(jù)教學(xué)內(nèi)容設(shè)定幫助學(xué)生完成教學(xué)任務(wù)的各項(xiàng)活動(dòng)，每年的“英語(yǔ)藝術(shù)節(jié)”系列活動(dòng)，提供給學(xué)生們一個(gè)舞臺(tái)，展示多方才藝，強(qiáng)烈的體現(xiàn)了學(xué)生對(duì)于中西文化的理解。這樣既能保持學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)熱情，同時(shí)還能培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)輸出能力，讓他們學(xué)會(huì)用英語(yǔ)去學(xué)習(xí)，用英語(yǔ)去思考。
　　We set various English learning activities according to the teaching content.The annual“English Art Festival”embodies students’understanding of Chinese and western cultures with their various talents and skills.Students can keep their interest on English and also can train their output ability.They learn to use English to study and to think.
　　每周舉行英語(yǔ)俱樂(lè)部活動(dòng)，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生用英語(yǔ)的能力，開設(shè)英文電影配音、演講、英文歌曲等俱樂(lè)部。
　　English club is held every week for students to train their English abilities.More than 10 English clubs are offered including English drama,movie dubbing,English poster design,speech and English songs,etc.
