??學(xué)校教育與社會(huì)再生產(chǎn):項(xiàng)目將在本周聚焦中美兩國(guó)如何定義種族/民族與移民。Schooling and social reproduction.Students will study two contexts,the US and China,and how each conceptualizes race/ethnicity and migration.
??學(xué)校教育的同化功能與移民/國(guó)際學(xué)生:項(xiàng)目將在本周探討學(xué)校教育的同化功能,以及移民/國(guó)際學(xué)生的規(guī)范化教育經(jīng)歷。Assimilative schooling and(im)migrant/international students.Students will discuss the assimilative function of schools,and how‘the other’experiences normative education.
